Invitation to ESFLU annual meeting 2025

Dear ESFLU Members,

We are pleased to confirm that our annual scientific and networking meeting in 2025 will be held in March 25^th – 27^th in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Date and location: 25^th – 27^th March 2025, Copenhagen, Denmark

Venue: University of Copenhagen, Frederiksberg Campus

This year’s meeting will focus on presenting ESFLU results and achievements accomplished so far, as well as developing strategies and workflows for future activities.

Preliminary Agenda: The Meeting is planned to start on 25th March in the afternoon with a plennary session followed by working group break-out sessions. On the second day 26th March the morning will be dedicated to presentation of ESFLU results while the afternoon will be dedicated to working group break-out sessions. On the third day of the Meeting 27th March, the early morning will be dedicated to wrap-up and planning sessions, followed by Management Committee Meeting lasting until midday.

Active participation and reimbursement possibilities: 

• The ESFLU budget will only allow us to cover participation of 45 participants.
• The priority will be given to participants presenting ESFLU-related results and actively engaged in specific tasks (designated by WG leaders), as well as representatives of the MC (one representative per country).
• Please send the proposed title of your presentation to: esflu.meeting@swineflu.eu until 06.02.2025
• ESFLU Members that can cover their own travel expenses are warmly invited to participate, since the Meeting venue can accommodate around 60 participants (please inform us in advance of your wish to attend in that case).
• A separate email will be sent to preliminary participants to confirm their availability and willingness to participate/present work and ability to fund their own participation. After the final list of participants will be compiled participants will receive official invitations from the Grant Holder.

Remote participation: There will be a possibility to participate in the meeting remotely. Links to the online meeting and more details will follow shortly.

Hotel information: The Local Organizing Committee will prepare the list of nearby hotels which will be shared shortly.
