Dissemination, communication and awareness
Aim
- To communicate information to stakeholders, policymakers and the general public
- To raise awareness on swine influenza and its risk for public health
- To contribute to a One Health approach to swine flu
Expected deliverables
To establish an ESFLU-project website for information sharing and specific ESFLU social media channels; e.g. LinkedIn to disseminate ESFLU activities and relevant knowledge.
We cooperate with a professional web design and website construction agency.
WG4 will produce e-brochures and multimedia products to disseminate outcomes of the other ESFLU working groups.
In addition, a session will be organized, in parallel or preceding an international scientific conference to share knowledge and exchange best practices and recommendations (upcoming!).
Finally, ESFLU has linked itsself to relevant international and European networks on animal and public health, including OFFLU and will establish a European research roadmap on swine flu.
Past and future activities
In 2023 the project website was launched as well as the project LinkedIn account.
